We have a product (a snorkel) and it is supposed to be magenta but after uploading the correct image it is changing the color of the image to purple?? There are 4 colors and the rest are fine and I have deleted and reuploaded the image several times but it is changed every time?? the data tab on the products is supposed to have a main image tab but it doesn't?? 3.0.2.0 is the OS version. I am miffed at this. I have deleted the image from image/catalog and the thumbnails from image/cache/catalog as well. am I missing a directory for images? Thanks

The product admin has an "Images" tab where you can upload your main image, but its not under the "data" tab.

Are you using a CDN such as Cloudflare that may be caching? Have you cleared your browser cache? Try using a different filename name for the image.

Try going to the image directly in your web browser such as /image/catalog/your-image.jpg. Then go to the resized image such as /image/cache/catalog/your-image-500x500.jpg. Are the colours different?

Your source image is probably saved in the wrong format.

I think you mean OC for OpenCart not OS for Operating System.

Yes by OC, I meand Opencart. I have uploaded the correct image several times and accessed it from the backend and the color has changed. It's a jpeg but I will change it and reupload, We have accessed it on two different systems and the color is still changed and I have cleared my cache too. baffled to say the least. It's doing the same to the same magenta color on a different style snorkel. I will try changing the image format.
Oh and yes in the data tab there is no place to upload the main image. Odd

This looks magenta to me pinkish-purple as opposed to a blueish-purple

Is this the right colour?

I think the issue is what @paulfeakins mentioned.

It looks like your source image is in CMYK (which if for print), you need to resave/export it with a RGB color profile.

Indeed this is what I was referring to.
