Out of Stock

The Buy Now and "Pre-order" buttons are not activated for Out of stock products even if the Stock Checkout option from System->Settings->Option->Stock is activated
Want to be able to place an order even if the product is not in stock, but inform the client of the status.

What version of OpenCart? Have you tested with the default theme?

You need to contact Journal support, it works with the default OpenCart theme.
