Modification file - for Opencart - Version 3.0.3.7

I have a question - I have Opencart Version 3.0.3.7 on my site and I am using Basel Template. After upgrade strangely I cannot set up a filter that comes with a template for manufacturer. It works on categories only. I want the same simple filter on both. Gender/size/color -

Since that was an upgrade from opencart 2.0 to 3.0 - and same Basel Template - I see developer left ON OLD Basel template 1.2.5 - that is showing as enabled under Modification file.


I want to try to turn it off but I am not sure - will that shut the site down? (picture included).


I wonder if that is preventing from the filter showing up under manufacturer. Can I turn it off to see if the filter finally shows up under manufacturer? The old template had one and the new one shows I should be able to set up filter under any section I want.
