SOLVED - Unreadable/Bug email replies

Hi,

My opencart website has seemed to have recently lost it. I haven't recently changed anything or done anything to the website but have started getting unreadable emails.

When a customer places an order it comes up with this:

Anyone know what to do or what could've caused this?

It would be helpful to provide more information, such as OpenCart version, PHP version and what mail settings you are using.

The problem you describe could be caused by PHP 8.

Check if your host has done a PHP upgrade to 8.00 or 8.1. I've had the same problem. On PHP 8.1 Mail causes the problem but SMTP works fine.

It's easy. You need a working email account though.

You don't state your PHP version, But I'm guessing it's 8 or above. Use SMTP as the mail engine or use the latest mail.php file. https://github.com/opencart/opencart/bl ... l/mail.php

Updated the mail.php file and it works now.
