Hello,

Quick question....is there a stand alone image manager for OC3 that is a module that can be accessed under the extensions tab, or anywhere in the menu column for that matter, rather than only being accessible in the product/image tab? I find it strange that after all this time that it still is a "hidden" module.

Thanks

What is the actual issue with the built-in Image Manager?

Hi Straightlight,
The issue being that the Image Manager is buried too deep. I want to be able to upload all my files and photos without having to go into a product, click on edit for that one product, click on a image tab, click on the image, click on the edit for that one image and then FINALLY get to the image manager. There is no way, currently, that I can just go to the menu on the left, click on a module and get to the image manager to upload whatever, organize however, create folders or do whatever I want. I would rather have everything organized the way I plan, folders, files etc, and then go into product and do what needs to be done.

IMO the Image Manager should be a separate, accessible module that can be used independently. This way, when your ready to start adding images, they are already there, ready to go according to how a person has organized and structured the website which obviously, being a online store, is heavily dependent on images.

I hope that explains what I was looking for.

Thanks DigiCart, looks like what I was looking for. Maybe in future versions it can be added directly to the left column for quicker access.

Hi
Sure, I will add a left menu entry in the next update.
