Help! I just did a test purchase on my 1.5.6 store and I got a confirmation email at my customer email but I did not receive any order confirmation or credit card details at my store admin email! This just started yesterday all of the sudden! What could the problem be? I tested the email account and everything is good there!

You're taking customer's card details by email? Not a great idea in today's world.

No...Open Cart is not sending the email with the outer CC numbers. It splits the CC number up and only emails the outer numbers. The inner numbers are in the order history in Open Cart. I am not getting the email or order confirmation but the customer order conf is sending as expected! This is kind of a big problem! Plus I am missing CC details from about 6 ordes now...any way to get them back?

Unless you have changed anything on your store just before it started happening you are probably best to ask you host. They may have changed something or the emails may of been falsely detected as spam.

Checking now but it is odd that the customer order confirmation emails are sending normally??

Is there anyway to access the missing partial CC info emails that are lost?

Looking at the description, it doesn't store the part of the number that is emailed. So if the emails are lost so is that information.

Finding what happened to the emails is very dependent on how your store, hosting and email accounts are set up. Sometimes you can find the email errors under the system email account if you have one. You may be able to check the mail logs yourself. In cPanel it's under Track Delivery.

You could also use an online email deliverability checker to check the emails your store send out are correct.

why dont you get a real CC account/gateway? been in biz since 1948, shouldn't be a problem.

That kinda thing seems like something for people who cant get approved for a CC account. What % do they take?

Notice it says it was recently updated, too
