Magic Scroll extension - change image background colour

Hi, I'm trialing the Magic Scroll carousel (Magic Toolbox) extension. Our products vary in shape and size and therefore we have many different image proportions. In the main site I changed the white backgrounds to match the site background colour.
I want to do the same in Magic Scroll but cannot find any setting in the extension CSS or, so far anywhere else.
Does anybody know where to change this?
I have asked this question on the Magic Scroll author's page in marketplace, but no answer - so far.
