Good morning, I am using opencart 4 with php 7.3.33 on Bluehost. When I send a test email on the contact us form, what I receive is the following:
------=_NextPart_6e4ddbf2661fb0a7db0dadd0a027e09e
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64

I have tried to look for solutions in the forums but all of them are old posts for previous versions of opencart and the ones I tried still give me the same result. I use Outlook as my main email client, however, when I log into the webmail portal with my host, I see the same information. Does anyone have any ideas? Much appreciated.
Dear iceman1411,
Are you sure use Opencart 4.0.0.0? now, it Requirements PHP 8 or high version.
If you use 4.0.0.0_b, Non production Beta Do not use on a live web site.

Looks like you are using PHP 8 as OpenCart 4 won't work on PHP 7. As fo the mail issue, see. https://github.com/opencart/opencart/pull/10540
You are right, I am using PHP 8. The PHP 7.3.33 came from the Bluehost CPanel, but when I uploaded a phpinfo file to the site and checked it that way, it showed PHP 8. Your solution for the mail issue worked perfectly! As far as I can tell the contact form is working as it should. Many thanks!ADD Creative wrote: ↑Wed Jul 13, 2022 10:47 pmLooks like you are using PHP 8 as OpenCart 4 won't work on PHP 7. As fo the mail issue, see. https://github.com/opencart/opencart/pull/10540
