Unable to pass step 3 OpenCart configuration

I just download the last version of OpenCart, I have Error: Could not make a database link using apadvent_edushop@localhost! on step 3 of the configuration screen. On that screen there only 2 option on the DB Driver, mPDO and PostgreSQL, but I do have mySQL install and running on the server but it not appear as and option, I did not know if this is correct?, you could check my server info at www.apadventista.org/phpinfo.php I could not pass from there.
