Multistore function with different domains

Hi everybody,
I have a live webshop using opencart 3.0.3.7 version.
I need to add a second store with opencart multistore function but in a different domain.
My hosting provider cannot give me the possibility to change the installation folder to the folder of another domain.
So it is not possible to enable multistore function useing 2 domains.
Has anybody face this problem?
Does anybody have any solution?

Hi.
- Register a new domain
- Make new domain as alias of first domain
- Go to settings page and create new store with new domain name

It is possible:

However, I would strongly suggest to be very careful if you decide to proceed with that. Do backups (files/database) in case something goes wrong.

This did not work for me. It always load the main store.
