Product matrix for quantity discounted prices

I have been looking for an extension to buy that will give me a simple product price matrix.

We do not use a simple standard discounting system - prices are provided with a pre calculated price based on a quantity and colour basis. The discounts are almost random (not our choice) and fixed so we can't use a simple formula to calculate it. We just need to insert the prices into a table and pull them in to a matrix for the product - hopefully via an array we can add in the addProduct API function.

We are not worried about purchasing/ordering through the site - at best a 'Request for full quotation' based on a basket.

I have seen similar questions asked here but no real solutions.

Any suggestions or do I have just have to reinvent the wheel and write it myself?

OC version. In addition, if you do have the ability to build an extension on your own based on your specific needs, and that no extensions can provide what you currently describe, then doing it yourself would be the best option.
