Is bar 1 & 2 taken from the same website ? i will need to know what class bar 1 & 2 is before i am able to help. If you have both bars on your website right now just add a link to our site and i can find the class and tell you how to change them.
Not able to help with out class code. Sorry.
But to change the BG color open your .css file for your template and find the class code and just take out or change what they have.
any of this can change the color or image using css.

i found it .... change the image file name .... and walla .....

what u need to do is .... edit the CSS file ... find this line
