Price Discrepancy Between 2 Promotions

Hi Forum,

I have currently set 2 simultaneous promotions for a product (Lets Call it Product A). One is 50% off (Sales Price (Regular Customers)) and 70% Off (Member Price) price promotion discount for Product A. And the other is free gift (Product A) when minimum price hits $60.

The issue now is that a member customer purchased some products hitting the minimum price and he is getting additional discount of 50% (Product A) instead of the 70% (Product A) discounted price. Meaning customer is getting more discount. Is there a work around solution for this problem?

Are you talking about the Special and Discounts prices you set in the product data? If so, a Special price will always override a Discount price in a default OpenCart installation.
