Dear all,

After a search I realised there is a module for importing / exporting of products..

Could you please enlighten, if there are any function/modules for :

** Import / export of users/customers via CSV

Please kindly enlighten, and if there is a workaround, please let me know. (Switching from CS-CART to Open Cart)

On hindsight, can I use myphpadmin in the web server and import the csv file into the sql database? Of course that would mean I need to know the exact fields' wordings in sql database file, to change the csv file to (this file is exported from CS-CART).

Thank you.

No more using Apsona, as they are not updated.

I haven't seen this. I wrote a product feed exporter that would be easy to modify but it sounds like you're more in need of an importer than exporter for your customers?

I'd also be interested in a Import/Export Customers module.

I'm using Open Cart 1.5.4.1 on http://www.importpieseauto.ro

I will try and write something for this, it should be easy enough to modify my CSV Import module that imports products.

If you can add a new feature to the Import/Export module would be awesome. A check box for "Delete products already in shop when importing" or something like that. I think this lack of option causes products to display twice after importing products.

Are you talking about the free Import/Export module? I am talking about the CSV Import PRO module in my signature, which already has the Delete checkbox option that you are talking about.

Oh sorry, I was referring to the free module. Please send me a bigger screen shot of your Pro module. You already have my email. ;)

I don't need many input fields in import file, so I think yours would be a good achievement. All I need is Product name, Description, Category it belongs to, Quantity, Model, Image, Price. Something like that, no weight, no dimensions.

Hope the free version of the tool will have the Importing of Customers option.

I've created a CSV Import/Export tool here that should help if you have basic db understanding:

I've put my commercial customer import / export extension in the OpenCart extensions page and on my website in my signature for slightly less.

http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... ion_id=942

As Qphoria said, you can also use his free csv import export module to do the same thing if you are confident. My module does a nice job of it though, I think :)

Products can be imported using the Import tools in my signature, check them out at my demo store. If you can export your cs-cart products as csv or xml, you should be good to go.
