I am relatively new to OpenCart and I am currently trying to upgrade my site, which is v2.1.0.2, to the latest version of OpenCart. I have attempted to do this by copying the files over to a blank copy of OpenCart v3.x but find that it doesn't work. The site uses a theme and I don't know how to migrate it across. If anyone has any advice or methods I am all ears!

You will need a theme that is compatible with 3.x. Maybe check with the theme developer if they have an updated version.
Additionally if the theme developer has no compatible version or is not willing to rework it for OpenCart 3.x, you could post a request in the Commercial Section of this forum and pay another developer.
Such attempts will never work - in no OpenCart version.

Do a fresh installation of your new OpenCart 3.0.3.x. Then use the Export/Import tool to carry over your old products data and customers to your new OC site, see our FAQ on this. Then install a web theme that is compatible with the new OpenCart version.

Thanks heaps guys. I ended up sorting out the issue with the theme.
