How to use Opencart API using Localhost

Dear Folks,
I am test Opencart API -
http://docs.opencart.com/en-gb/system/users/api/. I want to test this on localhost in order to check whether it fits in my requirement or not. However, i am getting below response when I am trying to access API using Postmen. Can you please suggest the exact steps or guidance on this
<b>Notice</b>: Undefined index: api_id in <b>C:\xampp\htdocs\opencart\upload\catalog\controller\api\login.php</b> on line <b>21</b>{

}
When I am commenting my Login page code where it is checking IP. it is working fine and generating token but it is not creating session in System-> Users-> API->Edit API->Session
Please suggest!
