I wouldn't use any of their services. We had to report GDPR violations, caused by its outlook.com service, to the ICO.

Right. This topic is not in purpose on providing any encouragement or discouragement regarding these services. It has simply been addressed as an informative manner for the users to be aware of the new changes provided by Microsoft.
