PP Standard "transaction cannot be completed"

Hey everyone,

I'm a bit of a noob to OC (using v. 1.4.9.1) so thank you for your help in advance. I am trying to integrate the Paypal Standard option into my OC. I followed the OC documentation instruction, and created a sandbox test account on Paypal.

Everything is running smoothly until I get to the Paypal payment page. Once I enter the correct test account info I simply get a message that says "transaction cannot be completed..."

Any ideas on what is going on?

Hi there,
we heard from a customer similar to what you mentioned. Check if there is some problems accessing your account ( account limitations) or any maintenance window for paypal.

Thanks. Just a heads up to everyone reading this post:

When I first tried connecting to my sandboxed account I had just created both the developer account and the sandboxed account within it. Having changed nothing, I retried the process yesterday and everything worked perfectly.

I think kedgetech was probably on the right track, that there was some kind of account maintenance issue. Either way this is all good.
