What does the UPS extension send to UPS.com?

I am using the built in UPS module and it gets rates just fine. The issue I am having is that when an order is made, is the module supposed to send that info to UPS somewhere and generate the shipping label? I've had two orders come through and I couldn't find them anywhere on the UPS site using our login so I put them in manually.

The site has only been up a week but I have a feeling it will take off soon and would like the shipping process to be as automated as possible.

No.. ups currently only supports live rate lookup for shipping estimates. Label printing is not available yet

I'm looking for a label printing solution for UPS. Any update to this?
