How to filter products in Flyout menu

I'm a newbie so..

I need to be able to do filtering in the flyout menu, hard to explain so I will try.
Say I have a manufacture called opencart and they offer two products, one used and one new.
Manufacture:Opencart
Category: New
Category: Used
Products:Used Item/Links/Categories->Used
Products:New Item/Links/Categories->New
Modules/Flyout menu/Flyout - Used Items/Shop by Manufacture/Link->Manufacture (plus I need to also filter to category 'Used')
Modules/Flyout menu/Flyout - New Items/Shop by Manufacture/Link->Manufacture (plus I need to also filter to category 'New')

So the problem is when I click 'New Items' then 'Manufacture' it shows both products new and used and the same goes for when I click on 'Used Item' then 'Manufacture', I need Menu:Used to only show Manufacture->Used Item and Menu:New to only show Manufacture->New item so I can have two menu entries that are New and Used and will only show items for that manufacture that are either used or new. I hope all this makes sense.

I'm using v3.0.3.6 and Journal 3
