I have developed an opencart site for a client. I am using import / export extension to view / add / delete the products in a spreadsheet.

I have uploaded the software to the server (minus images), but with the image names inserted in the database (which I did via the spreadsheet).

None of the images showed up on the front page, expectantly. I then uploaded the images to the data folder.

None of the images are showing up. The cache/data is empty. They are blank in the source doe - IMG SRC="". I set permissions to 755 and 777 for the cache folder and then the whole site. Didn't work.

When I try editing the images in Admin, there is the standard no_image-100x100 picture. Even though my images are set up to be 120x120 in the admin settings. I found that strange.

I went to extensions - import / export, downloaded the spreadsheet. The image names are there - not blank.

Any help?

What is the location of the image as seen by the database: data/imagename.jpg ?

What is the location of the images on your server: <webroot>/image/data/imagename.jpg ?

Yep.

data/imagename.jpg
<webroot>/image/data/imagename.jpg

Looks like I'm going to have to set all the images blank and hire a data entry person to upload each of the 3000 images one by one.

Okay, I have more information.

It seems that images are being spawned in the cache folder, but at 100x100 instead of the 120x120 that is set in the admin settings.

IMG SRC's in the front page source are still blank.
