Hi,
Currently search field on my site is searching title, model, and description of the products.. Im using journal theme so i was able to disable auto suggest but i don't see any option to turn off other things.. i would want my customer to search only titles on the products.
For instance if someone search for 'xyz' and i have a product with model xzy, which is used in multiple listings.. it should only show item which have xyz in its title.
I would appreciate if some one could guide me on how to do this.. ideally without changing the core files, as the updates would get messy and and constant change need when updated.

Journal isn't supported here. You got 3 options:
- Get in touch with Journal support
- Re-post on the commercial support section of this forum
- Use a proper OpenCart web theme instead of Journal

journal theme search is using opencart default search.. the functionality is not covered by journal support as they say its default opencart and i should be asking here. That is why i opened this post.
If we ignore what theme im using.. how can we make the search field only look at the titles of the products and nothing else?

It lets you have misspellings so it will be able to search your titles with intelligence. Searching just titles may well fail to search accurately
