Hi! Does opencart have a back/order/preorder function? If yes, can backordered/preordered items be tracked from the backend?

You could achieve this with order statuses or add an extension:

Thanks for the reply. I was actually not looking to disable the backorder items.

I'm looking for a way to TRACK backorder/preoder items so that those items can be reordered by the store from its suppliers.
