does seo_url impact site performance?

Hi,

Firstly I'd like to thank the opencart team for such a great cart, it's one of the easiest shopping cart i've ever customized.

Into the very late stage of my development, I'm just wondering if seo_url will impact site's performance in terms of processing and loading speed. I've ran a few tests and it seems to be ok, but I just want to confirm since I haven't converted all links yet.

The reason behind this question is because I want to seo_rewrite every link on my site to make it look more professional and easier to identify in google analytics.

It will slow it down a little, but you'll not notice it unless you have a LOT of urls on a page
