Hello,

We sell one of a kind items where there is only 1 of each in stock, and I have stock ordering set to NO in the system settings. I have had two customers this week accidentally check out with 2 of the same product in their cart, making the stock go to -1. I don't know if this is a problem with cache or cookies? I'm using v3.0.3.2 with Journal 3 theme and Lightning Module for caching.

First - the customers are not purposely putting two in their cart since these are expensive products and they only meant to order one, and the website should not allow checkout with 2 of the products in their cart. Also- it's not Qty 2 of the same product. It's 2 of the same product each with qty 1 in the cart.

Please help! Thank you!
Amanda

Well, with Journal and lightning it is anybodies guess but default OC also has this issue:

Hi Girlinabillion,

Please turn off the Lightening Module and test if it is happening with the Journal Theme
If it is not happening with this off, then please contact the Lightening Module developer to resolve this issue.

If it is still happening, please turn off your Journal theme and test if it is happening with the default module
If it is not happening in your test, please contact Journal for support. https://support.journal-theme.com/index.php?a=add

If you still are having the same issue with both of the above off and the above instructions from Letxobnav, then come back - but you can also follow the same basic procedure as above to identify and ask for assistance from the relevant party. Alternatively, you can post in the commercial section and ask someone to quote to go into your system and resolve.

Thank you so much both of you for the fast replies. I will take a look into the code changes in the linked thread, and if I'm not able to fix it then, I'll look for someone in the commercial to pay to resolve it. I wasn't able to find anything in the threads when searching.... So I appreciate the link.

Thanks!

Golden rule of the opencart forum, when in need of a search, use google.
That is not OC's fault but the forum's BB software.
I do that even to find my own posts.

I used Google first.... and I only found threads relating to 1.5.5.1...... I only try the forum search as a last resort...

Sorry? I'm not sure if you're implying that I post a lot or not very much...
