Opencart Google Shopping Charges and Costs

Searched around and I'm concerned that I can't find any details about this.
I'm in process of setting up Google Shopping in OC. I am required add my credit card number and authorize Opencart Ltd. to charge it.
What exactly are they charging? Guessing Opencart Ltd. a Google affiliate.
Is the core extension the best way to integrate with Google Shopping?
Any better alternatives?

BTW, I think it's a good thing (as long as the prices are not marked up) for Opencart to make some money by being an affiliate. I'd rather see Opencart get the money than Google. I just think that publishing an explanation of why the money is being paid to Opencart would be good to have out there.

Is the mystery really this big? Does anybody know what these charges from Opencart Ltd. are for? This is core opencart and I can't find any documentation. Even the refund policy page is blank. Link to Refund Policy Page:
