I'm running version 2.2.0 with default theme, and happy with it's very stable functionality performance.
Is it worth to upgrade to version 3.x ?
Is there any easy ways to upgrade to latest 3.x ?

Hi, if the upgrade is a real necessity (in case you lack some of the crucial latest-version features, etc.), then I would suggest you try an automated tool. My personal preference is Cart2Cart. The guys move data fast and without any arising issues. The whole process takes just a couple of hours and requires minimal involvement. Alternatively, you can do it yourself, but get ready to get your hands dirty
Personally I would upgrade to 2.3.0.2 and stick with that for a while.
