[SOLVED] Reports not visible for usergroup

Lectori Salutem,

I'm trying to create access to a (1) products purchased report for a (1) new user. So I've created a new user group (system/users/user group) and ticked the report/report access permissions. Modify permissions are all de-selected.
Then I added a new user (system/users/users) and gave the earlier created user group as group.
Now when I log in as that new users, all I see is Dashboard and Reports (as expected) but when I select Reports/Reports, I can't see any reports at all, the drop down list next to filter stays empty (unexpected).

To check, I ticked report/online under permissions for that created user group and logged in as the user again and the user now can see who's online (as expected). As admin I have no problems whatsoever.
Am I missing a permission somewhere? Do I need to change other things as well? Is there something under Reports that I couldn't find that sets permissions? Any nudge in the right direction is appreciated.

ps. If anyone has reference to good documentation on how to create custom reports and make them accessible to users I'm interested!

Think you would need to tick access permissions for extension/reports/* as well
