This thought / issue came up because of the google base feed and my setting it up.
I have my products under subcategories only, not in the main category.
i.e. Pool cues has many different subcategories like balabushka, joss etc.
The products are only in those sub-categories not in the "pool cues" main category.
So I thought when I set up the google base I could just choose "pool cues" and it would get all the products in the sub-categories too but that is NOT the case. I would have to add every sub-category to the feed and at this point that is about 75 subcategories. Then repeat that for a lot of other sub-categories.
So what is the best practice? To put every product into both the main pool cue category AND it's appropriate sub-category or just add every single subcategory to google base feed?
