Sending marketing mail: 403 forbidden!

When sending an e-mail to customers using the Marketing > Mail function, I get an error message with the following:

Code: Select all

Forbidden
Forbidden
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">
<html><head>
<title>403 Forbidden</title>
</head><body>
<h1>Forbidden</h1>
<p>You don't have permission to access /admin/index.php
on this server.</p>
</body></html>
I have checked all permissions for my user account and still this is not working.

Any trusted developer that knows exactly how to fix this?
Does a developer need our server login data?

Could be a ModSecurity issue. In your hosting cPanel look under Security for the ModSecurity icon. If you have one click it and then temporary disable ModSecurity and try sending again.

You could also ask you host is they are using ModSecurity and ask them to temporarily disable it.
