Previously, the customer address is not passed and I have been able to fix that using suggested solutions on the forum. However, I have not been able to find a solution to sending shipping address to Paypal standard. What is being sent is the billing address. This may not always be so for customers who want to purchase gifts for others. Can anyone help, on how to override the billing address to the shipping address? (Previous suggestion for similar question is for Opencart2)

Address sent to PayPal doesn't really matter, you can send "Santa Claus, North Pole 1" and it won't matter much since actual address will be saved in OC database. But if you REALLY want to use shipping address, simply open catalog/controller/extension/payment/pp_standard.php and replace all 'payment_' indexes with 'shipping_' for $order_info array.

Professional OpenCart extensions, support and custom work.

Thanks for your quick response. Previously, I was not bothered about this, however, I have now been stung by a customer claiming he did not receive the package. I provided PayPal with a tracking number and all, yet because the shipping address is different from the billing address which is on the PayPal Transaction, PayPal happily refunded the money. I lost the product and I lost money.

I will try your solution and it worked. Thanks so much for your prompt response.
