Use to I had an OC 2.3.0.2 webshop with a theme installed on. When I had to do some custom works on the frontend, I just go to the catalog/view/theme name/template/product.tpl and hacking something. I am not a coder, but I had to make some changes about the buttons, extra fields, layout problems, changing the order of text, etc. I probably did an awful job (core files changed, of course), but I managed a lot of small problems.

Right now, I have an OC 3 webshop with a theme, and I just shocked that my best friends, the .tpl files gone away, and there are .twig files laughing to my pale face. Is the method still the same as OC 2? Can I modificate the view/*.twig files as did before? Are there any tricks I should now? I already tried some minor changes to do (rename UPC, SKU, but failed).

If you'd like to remain with TPL files, you could always download the Template Switcher extension from the Marketplace. Or, you could simply Google PHP TWIG where symfony.com are the creators of the TWIG engine. The entire manual can be found on their site. As for the rename process of UPC, SKU, you'd need to provide more information on that since catalog/view/theme/default/template/product/product.twig file does seem to output most of the information accordingly already.

Are you using a custom theme? If so, please post your URL.

Thank you for your reply. My main problem is that I installed a new OC3 than Journal3 next, so I do not know if my problem is the new methods of OC3 or Journal3, because this is the first time I using both of them. I know that I should not ask support for Journal3, so I ask some guidance for the OC3.
And yes, I have already asked support from Journal's author too.
In the end, I would like to see how is the default OC3 working, and what the Journal changing on it.

However, the problem at this stage is that you are inquiring information after installing an extension such as Journal. If you'd like to learn more about OC, I would suggest to install a fresh copy of Opencart, either, on a development server or in a virtual server so to test the basic functionality of OC3 prior on installing any extensions or any extensions that are not included out-of-the-box on the fresh installation.

Haha! Don't worry, they are just HTML files with a few {{ variables }}
