I am trying to create a product that will be charged per letter and size, its a custom design for vinyl lettering. The product is designed through a custom html page and added to the cart using a curl post.

I am having trouble getting the cost to be calculated correctly, in the html it is calculated using js, but when input in OC it takes the price of the product.

I can see two ways around it, neither I can work out...
1) Overwrite the OC price with the calculated js price

2)Set the OC product up with options for the number of letters and have a price multiplier from these.

Has anyone done something similar, I know there are custom product designers, but haven't found any that will charge per letter and size.

Better get a Professional, already familiar with such Custom Coding, you problem
won't be solvable around here, I assume ... ;)

PRICE BY FORMULA + live price update ... n_id=22281
price by function + LIVE PRICE UPDATE ... n_id=23399
Product price based on price matrix ... n_id=32393

Would be very easy for a customer to pay less than they should.

You should pay a developer such as ourselves or one from Commercial Support.
