You really, REALLY do NOT want to downgrade to 5.6, because it's A LOT slower than 7.x. Find a suitable fix instead.

Right anything below 7.2 is now EOL older versions may expose you to security vulnerabilities, plus your host will probably force upgrade soon anyway. The fix for that takes 2 seconds to do.
