While I think that OC is a great platform, one thing that I have found in versions I’ve used from 1.5.x to 3.0.3.2 is that when you are creating options and then you go into a product to select those options... is that you have to select the options individually. When you have a number of options to select, this can be very time consuming. I suggest that while in a product/option, you should be able to select all of the options within an option set.

For example, if I have color, texture, and flavor… and in color I have 30 colors, I should be able to select the option COLOR and then all of the colors show up to where I can select them (or deselect), enter the qty, price, etc. for that particular product all without having to back in and out of that option set.

There used to be an extension Fabric Choice that did this, and they are no longer around. And with a store that has thousands of options, etc., this could be a serious time saver.

Thanks for your consideration and keep up the great work!

Very true.
For now, I simply have created product templates, just actual but disabled products with different options already added.
When I need to add a new product with those options or attributes, I simply copy one of those "dummy products" templates with the right options set.

Yes, I have done that as well because there are a few products that offer the same options. It definitely helps doing it that way. However, when changing prices, etc., it would be nice to have a master field at the top of the option set list that would change the prices in all or select options. ;)
