I checked every video, info, and whatever about the setup, but i cant seem to get it to work...
1) in my hosting i setup a new sub-domain : xxxxx.mysite.com
2) admin panel added the new store: http://xxxxx.mysite.com/
It wont do anything on the front page. Admin seems to work awesome4, but front end, dont...
I have domain with SSL but sub-domain not...is that an issue?
Thx

Oh, thank you for the kind help...
Let me explain easy this time...it was my fault i guess...
On the title says OC 3.0.2 - Journal 3 - Multi Store
The text says what i did...after checking every post available...THEN...
I created a multi store in Admin as OC describes how to, and added the URL
Admin working good (i think) but there is no front end showing a shop in the submited URL
Domain uses HTTPS, but sub-domain not.
Domain : https://xxxxx.com
Sub-domain : http://xxx.xxxxx.com
Better now? Thank you and my apologies.
Thanks, a bit better ...
So the subdomain of the new store - does it point to the same IP as the main store?

Im guessing....same HTML_Public folder, same server, same hosting...paulfeakins wrote: ↑Mon Nov 04, 2019 10:50 pmSo the subdomain of the new store - does it point to the same IP as the main store?
the domain is the same except https and (sub domain) b2b.mysite.com
Check the domains (both) in a IPwho is, and both using same IP
https://b2b.mysite.com AND
https://www.mysite.com
Are they the same?
Do both have SSL certs?

As i mentioned above 3 times...
Domain uses HTTPS, but sub-domain not, its simple HTTP
IP is the same for both
But what do you see when you go to the link, you said it doesn't work but what's actually on the screen?
UK OpenCart Hosting | OpenCart Audits | OpenCart Support - please email info@antropy.co.uk
Im guessing about both on HTTPS too...paulfeakins wrote: ↑Mon Nov 04, 2019 11:11 pmI see, it might be that both need to be on HTTPS.
But what do you see when you go to the link, you said it doesn't work but what's actually on the screen?
I had a folder (sub-domain) with the tipical index.html hosting page, then i deleted all content.
Added a index.html just for the sake of it, but no coding, just straight blank....thats all i see a blank page...
Sub domain is working, OC admin working and Theme working, just the front page dont display anything.
-----------------------------------------------------
I did a test...copied the route from the https url and pasted on sub-domain.....Example :
http://b2b.mysite.com/index.php?route=common/home
It gives a 404 error
So what's in the error logs?

Nothing, completly clean, no errors.
As i told you, its everything working fine, just the front page is blank or no re-direction
Sent you a PM with my sites urls, please do not share them.
Thank you
What error logs have you looked in?

I checked OC admin panel, and no error logged....BUT....in my server logs i see this : [Mon Nov 04 05:36:51.540036 2019] [ssl:warn] [pid 917575:tid 140643860404352] AH01909: RSA certificate configured for b2b.mysite.com:443 does NOT include an ID which matches the server name

No problem.

What do you think Paul?
That seems most likely given the error message.

Yep, i just spoked with my tech, and its because of https and http, a certificate error....
Maybe it should be added to OC Manual about this, i saw lots of people having the same issue.
I've changed the title of this topic to reflect the problem and marked it as solved.ForgedGround wrote: ↑Mon Nov 04, 2019 11:55 pmMaybe it should be added to OC Manual about this, i saw lots of people having the same issue.
Please do confirm though if switching both to HTTPS does indeed fix it.
All sites should be HTTPS now anyway, especially ecommerce ones.
