Only Default Theme will display

I'm having a starnge problem with Opencart 2.0.1.1. For some reason only the Default Theme will display. I have Journal 2 installed and it was working fine, its still selected in settings, but just the Default Theme will display. I have on a couple of occassions managed to get it back, by selecting default theme in settings saving then going back in and selecting Journal 2, but if I make any other changes it goes back to Default. When I do get it back images are all fuzzy.

it works with Journal, just clear out your Browser Cache.
And better rework your images, they look like sh..

I managed to get it back, store logo is missing. When I go back into settings to change the image sizes to what is acceptable to journal it goes back to the default theme and I have to start again.
