my current Opencart website, v2.3.0.2 was installed and configured for me by a third party onto our existing server.
The third party offered and configured Journal 2.0 as a theme and configured that.
We now want to transfer an older store running on V1.5.6 and run it as a second store using the Multistore feature. I'm conversant with the multistore functionality, and the intention is to use the standard Opencart Default Theme.
The problem I am having is that, although the default theme folder is present on the server, it does not appear as an option in Extensions >> Themes, only Journal is present.
In Settings >>Stores >> Settings default theme is accompanied with the Journal 2 image.
Does Journal 2 overwrite and become the default theme when installed or is the work of the installer?
Under Extensions -> Themes
Click the pencil behind the new multi store you try to change to default theme
In the top it should show a dropdown where you can select
Theme installation folder
It should show journal and the default template
you can change it here to the default theme (at least for me, im using multi store with journal theme)
