Hi guys! I'm using OpenCart 3.0.3.2 with Journal 3 Theme and I have a big problem on mobile devices.. I'm using Lightning Opencart cache module that I paid and this guys don't reply to my support tickets for 48h. My site redirect me to many times on mobile ( homepage ). I disabled the module and then works..
Any suggestion?

It's a complex theme with lots of issues.

What extension exactly? There are lots so yo must provide a link to the exact one. Also, 48h? It's been the weekend, developers don't work 24/7 you know?

Did you ask for support through the OpenCart site?

Always read the feedback notes and ratings. It's good to know that an extension can be published for free but that's not the only important aspect when installing an extension.

well, if you had taken the time, during the 1 week trial, to review what you would be getting then you might have realized that that code is obfuscated (minimized php so to speak). So for support you are very much condemned to the developers as I can assure you none on these forums can help you there.

You don't have to reply if you don't want to.. These error appears after module version update ( in the first week it worked perfectly ) and I posted here maybe someone has the same issue and know how to solve it..

A good point has been addressed here, however. Since this issue is about a product being used under license, it would be best to contact the extension developer to resolved this issue.

That's what I'm waiting for now :D Thank you all for your time. I will post the solution for those who have this issue.

EDIT:
This is the developer response:

Code: Select all

I have failed determining the reason of this. It may be caused by some speedup/HTTPS redirect extension or hosting itself.
I can do my best to find the reason, but it will cost $50 as it solely specific to your site.
Is that normal to you? I don't want to be an idiot but I don't find that nice. I paid for this module and they said is compatible with Journal 3. And the problem is the module because there are no problem if I disable it.. Your opinion?

Well there's an easy way to tell:

If you install the extension on a fresh copy of OpenCart with Journal 3, does the problem occur?

If so then it should be fixed for free.

If not, then it's something to do with your specific setup and it's perfectly reasonable to charge.

Since you are having doubts about service quality of a developer, you could also contact site support for arbitral decision about the service provided with the extension.

Try to change module settings.
From Optimal to Safe and see if you still have many redirects.

If I turn off separate mobile cache is working but if you go on mobile then you go on desktop, site will show you mobile version on desktop ..

EDIT:
SERVER PROBLEM, the module isn't compatible with NGINX
