I have looked everywhere I possibly could on the internet to find an answer for the issue I am having with PayPal express checkout and Braintree using one page quick checkout, but I couldn't find anything. It feels like I am the only one having this issue. I have just bought Journal 3 Advanced theme, and I have asked the author about the issue and their answer was "Opencart changed Paypal API from v.3.0.3.1 and one page checkouts like ours do not work anymore". My question is: is there no fix for this? and why would OC do this? The default checkout looks not good on mobile phone, it's bigger than the screen. My website is coming up not user friendly on Google. It looks like this issue doesn't exist.
Can anyone provide some advice please?

But Journal 3 theme is the problem for developers and for users also. A lot of modules does not work with this new theme and they should be adapted for this new theme. I can't find any technical documentation for developers about journal 3 theme (maybe just me). Developers of this theme even does not bother to answer questions... maybe also this just only my bad experience. Maybe I'm not right...

kesta, you are right. I have contacted them many times and they haven't replied. It is so frustrating.
Just ditch the Journal theme and find another one. Not only this is the most troublesome theme, it's also very slow.

I've just found other people are having the same issue, but no one has replied to their questions? What going on with that issue? It seems mysterious.
There might be a solution, just not the generic one. Both Journal3 (a problematic web theme) and the one-page checkout are 3rd party extensions, so your best bet for support is from the commercial section of this forum.

Well, I have a developer and he can't find an answer to the issue. Journal theme author contacted me and they said OC v3.0.1.0 do not support PayPal with one page checkout. I made some research and I came across this viewtopic.php?t=210578&start=40
