Based on an old Qphoria extension for OC 0.7.8
This contrib. adds a new table to the database for archiving searches that customers use on your site. It
can be useful for figuring out what the customer is thinking and where your products could use a
matching tag to be a relevant search result.
Currently it logs:
• Search Term
• Search Time
• The results that are returned (in the form of product id’s separated by semi-colon)
• IP Address
It will install as a new report under the “Report” menu in the admin section.

I also made nice seo urls for the tag cloud with a rewrite rule, now my tag cloud gets crawled pretty regularly.

have you shared your mod here?justinv wrote:Nice work, I did the same thing and modified the tag cloud module to pull the data from the search table. It sizes them based on the number of times that keyword is searched for.

No I didn't create a module for this, that's a good idea. I might package it up and release it shortly in the extension store and http://opencart.hostjars.com. It's quite handy.

Has anybody gotten this to work with vQmod (all previous links are broken) or v1.5.4? Trying everything I could think of.
Thanks.
