Remove sort, limit, order from category page url

Hi there! Im facing the following problem in opencart 2.1.0.1 journal2 theme - when i go to category page and choose second page url goes like this: https://mystore.com/bezzhichni-mikrofon ... =20/page=2
it must be only ?page=2
The problem is that for example on manufacturer page, where everything goes as well, the rel="next" and "prev" are showing exactly, but in this case rel="next" is for ?page=2, the same page im on.
Do you have any idea how to show only page tag when using pagination?
