Anchor links when going from product details back to listing

Hello!

I've tried searching with Google and hear on the forums but haven't managed to find find any solutions to the problem at hand, so I decided to join the forum and post this question myself.

The problem with our store is as follows:

• User scrolls down a product listing page, clicks "Show more" and continues scrolling further down

• User clicks on a product to open up the details page

• User uses the web browser's back button to get back to the listing page

• As a result the listing page shows the bottom of the first batch of products, so the user needs to click "Show more" once again an manually scroll down to find where he/she left the page

Is this a bug? Can it be configured or fixed? The anchors work with the first batch of products but not when the user has clicked "Show more" and scrolled over that.

I hope I explained the problem clearly enough, but if not, please feel free to ask more info and I'll try to answer as best as I can. I greatly appreciate any help and thoughts regarding this problem.

OpenCart doesn't have a "Show More" button like this, so it's probably something your theme added. The theme developer would need to fix that in their code so the "Back" button works properly in the browser, it's something they can do in their javascript.

Thank you for your answer! I honestly believed that it was a native feature in OpenCart. I will now change my focus to the theme and try to figure out the next steps. I checked and we have "Default Store Theme" active, which is actually Journal 2, if I'm not mistaken. Anyways, your answer helped put me on the right path, thanks!
