url changing following SSL activation

Hi Guys - First post, please be gentle!

OC 3.02 installed in domain.co.uk/opencart/

I've been developing the site now for a month or so and it's been rock steady. SEO urls are enabled and I suspect my issue is allied to this.

Today I attempted unsuccesfully to get it to play nicely with SSL, the certificate is being reported as correctly installed etc, but having failed I then reverted back to http, since then my customer login, register and checkout urls are dropping the installation directory from the url :

So instead of http://www.domain.co.uk/opencart/index. ... t/register
It's trying to find http://www.domain.co.uk/index.php?route ... t/register

Does anyone have any idea as to why?

You should check your .htaccess and where RewriteBase is pointing to

Switch it to HTTPS in all config files then clear all caches and run it through here:
https://www.whynopadlock.com/

Don't Know category DELETE or HIDE

I'm closing this, I never did get it resolved and the situation was overtaken by events.
