Good morning everyone. I've been absent from the OC development scene for a couple of years, and am jumping back in trying to do some maintenance for an old client.

I'm trying to make a simple change to the header.tpl: Adding the config_address to the header. To that end, I added

Code: Select all

$data['address'] = $this->config->get('config_address');
to the controller/header.php, and attempted to call it with

Code: Select all

<?php echo $address; ?>
in header.tpl.

I'm getting an undefined variable error. I attempted to pass some data to the error log from the header.php, and it appears that the header.php isn't getting called at all. I can comment out the entire file and it doesn't affect the page render.

How can I figure out which controller is calling the header.tpl? I feel like I'm missing something pretty basic here. I've checked modification files to make sure nothing is getting changed by the OCMod or VQMod.

Thanks in advance.

Basically which version are you (the client is) using (guess somewhat 2.x when you mention OCMod)?
Is VQMod additionally used?
Have you cleared the cache?
And are extensions installed which using the events system?

OC 2.2.0
VQMod is installed, no mods.
Yes.
And finally, I'm not certain about that.

Thanks, but no thanks. I'll figure it out on my own if the community can't or won't point in the right direction.
