Multiple Options with Stock Control

Hiya,
Seems that the 'out of box' Opencart does not really cater very well for multiple options on their stock control. Basically, I have a customer who has 2 options on a specific product:
Size
Colour
They may have a size 6 in stock, but not in a Brown, but they have a size 6 in a blue and vica-versa, if that makes sense.
Can someone suggest my best option / MOD to fix this?
