Hey guys.
I have set up (and have it showing a linked merchant ID) the payments extension Braintree powered by paypal (the one that comes with opencart, as opposed to an additional paid extension).
I have set up my Braintree account and all the rest of it but when I try to checkout (I am trying to do some test purchases before it goes live) the page just kinda goes a shade of grey and it doesn't process. No error message is given.
Any idea what this might be? Any help appreciated. Thank you
Luke

Thanks for your reply. Can confirm the below:-
- OpenCart Version 3.0.2.0
- error_log on the main dir has nothing from the last 10 days. Only stuff from when I initially had problems setting up
- Theme is Journal 2
- Extension is PayPal Powered by Braintree and the specific problem is when I try to do credit/debit card payment
- Site is at titancards.co.uk
Hopefully this is a bit better

Enable the debug mode for PayPal Braintree in your OC admin extensions payments page and retry a test transaction noticing if there are then any log transactions appearing afterwards in the admin logs or in the admin payments Braintree logs.

OK that mode is now enabled.
On the frontend it simply says: There was an error processing your order. Please contact the shop administrator for help.
- Triggered when I press Pay Now.
I open error_log on main opencart directory, but nothing in there. is there a seperate error log somewhere?

See in your admin payment modules in the Braintree form page for a log tab. Also ensure to keep a clean log files as it can limitedly grow pretty fast.is there a seperate error log somewhere?

It seems my card I was using to test it was potentially the problem. Had texts off my bank asking if I recognised the transaction etc. I have since done it again, and pressed PAY NOW under payment details under quick checkout - this completed the order no problem.
But I have also tried using the place order button, and that one doesn't work. It just repeats the same error (grey overscreen). Done this a few times now.
I have navigated to the braintree payments payment extension but I can't see anywhere that says logs? Settings, Order Statuses (New orders), 3-D Secure, Vault, PayPal, Transaction Search are my options

On your FTP logs folder, look for the: braintree.log file. If you can't see it, ensure to enable the logs from your admin settings server tab and take note of the path at the bottom.

Hey mate thanks for your reply again, not having much luck unfortunately.
I go to admin > settings > server and it says it should be called simply error.log but gives no note of where
The error logs I can find in ftp are at
error_log in root directory
error_log in admin directory
I tried browsing through extensions/payments etc but cannot see a braintree file, any idea where it would be by default? ( i never changed where error logs go. ) Can confirm log errors is set to yes in admin panel.
