OC Version: 2.1.0.1
Theme: Default (Original)
Extension/Mods: Nil
About me: I am all good to launch the website and with the help of this forum i have been able to solve all the problems I encountered during customization of my website. I would like to thank all the members and their efforts in contributing to this forum. I am only left with these three customization, if you could help me resolve? I have tried searching them in forum but either my keywords are not accurately hitting the target or probably no one ever encountered these issues.
Query1: How can I remove only the price from the cart button on right top corner and its drop down table (2 Pictures attached with red circled unwanted part)
Querry2: How can I remove the last two columns (showing prices) from checkout product details (Picture attached with red circled unwanted part)
Querry3: How can I remove the last two columns (showing prices) from order confirmation screen (Picture attached with red circled unwanted part)

Your Version OC Default Theme + Language File Code!
Well, it might not work, since I just removed, what you mentioned.
But before you upload the 3 Files, contained in the Zip, you'll need
to rename the corresponding Default Files on the server first, to make sure,
to be able switch back. And the files contain the subdirectory_paths
in their title-name, and have to be renamed back, by nature of things.
But don't ask me a question, I could not test it.
Good Luck! ;)

Thanks a lot @IP_CAM
I tried the files, here are the results:-

Query1: How can I remove only the price from the cart button on right top corner and its drop down table.
Result: Price disappeared from the button but as soon as some item is added to cart, it appears again on same page and disappears as soon as you shift to some other page or cart confirmation. However the price from the drop down table is no more there :). I think i will considered it as Resolved.

Querry2: How can I remove the last two columns (showing prices) from checkout product details.
Results: Resolved, Totally Resolved .... no more there.. Bingo ... Perfect

Querry3: How can I remove the last two columns from order confirmation screen.
Results: Not resolved, still there :(

Your help is really appreciated, thanks a lot.

PS: This is my 3rd interaction with someone from Switzerland, they are always helpful. First two interactions were in Switzerland when i visited there in 2007.

Well, I forgot the template/checkout/confirm.tpl file,
wich would probably have to look similar to this file below.
But it's hard to guess, without beeing able, to test it in real,
since some controller routines might be part of this, and so
expecting values to be shown, or then, present some errors... :o

Perfect.... Thanks buddy..... :) :) :)

I found this table code at two places in "confirm.tpl" file and converting this piece of code (at 2 places) into comment have done the magic. The last Query is also stand resolved.

Sorry for late reply, it took me a while searching for something to convert the code into comment, I mean "<!--" and "-->". :)

Here is the complete code

Code: Select all

<?php if (!isset($redirect)) { ?>
<div class="table-responsive">
  <table class="table table-bordered table-hover">
    <thead>
      <tr>
        <td class="text-left"><?php echo $column_name; ?></td>
        <td class="text-left"><?php echo $column_model; ?></td>
        <td class="text-right"><?php echo $column_quantity; ?></td>
<!--        <td class="text-right"><?php echo $column_price; ?></td> -->
<!--        <td class="text-right"><?php echo $column_total; ?></td> -->
      </tr>
    </thead>
    <tbody>
      <?php foreach ($products as $product) { ?>
      <tr>
        <td class="text-left"><a href="<?php echo $product['href']; ?>"><?php echo $product['name']; ?></a>
          <?php foreach ($product['option'] as $option) { ?>
          <br />
          &nbsp;<small> - <?php echo $option['name']; ?>: <?php echo $option['value']; ?></small>
          <?php } ?>
          <?php if($product['recurring']) { ?>
          <br />
          <span class="label label-info"><?php echo $text_recurring_item; ?></span> <small><?php echo $product['recurring']; ?></small>
          <?php } ?></td>
        <td class="text-left"><?php echo $product['model']; ?></td>
        <td class="text-right"><?php echo $product['quantity']; ?></td>
<!--        <td class="text-right"><?php echo $product['price']; ?></td> -->
<!--        <td class="text-right"><?php echo $product['total']; ?></td> -->
      </tr>
      <?php } ?>
      <?php foreach ($vouchers as $voucher) { ?>
      <tr>
        <td class="text-left"><?php echo $voucher['description']; ?></td>
        <td class="text-left"></td>
        <td class="text-right">1</td>
        <td class="text-right"><?php echo $voucher['amount']; ?></td>
        <td class="text-right"><?php echo $voucher['amount']; ?></td>
      </tr>
      <?php } ?>
    </tbody>
    <tfoot>
      <?php foreach ($totals as $total) { ?>
      <tr>
        <td colspan="4" class="text-right"><strong><?php echo $total['title']; ?>:</strong></td>
        <td class="text-right"><?php echo $total['text']; ?></td>
      </tr>
      <?php } ?>
    </tfoot>
  </table>
</div>
<?php echo $payment; ?>
<?php } else { ?>
<script type="text/javascript"><!--
location = '<?php echo $redirect; ?>';
//--></script>
<?php } ?>
Thanks a lot again...
