I want to ask a simple question what is differnece between coupon codes and reward points in OC.

Coupon codes is something you give to customers to get an additional discount on checkout by entering the code manually. Reward points is some kind of award to customers for buying on your site. Both are discounts, but work differently.
I recommend you to play with OpenCart more and simply try its features. Also there're plenty tutorials with questions on most basic questions. Not necessary to ask these questions on forums.

Coupons are made by the admin in the admin panel.
Reward points are given to the customer after purchasing the products that have points.
Coupon has some settings, such as total and expiration date.
