I know that do-follow links are better for getting my website ranked higher in Google. However, my question is for external links - from my blog.

I write a blog and I include links to websites with high DA (above 70). I am doing this to show Google first of all that my content is related to this industry from the links, but also to establish high authority for my website.

So, should I use no follow or followed links? I heard that if I have lots of external links, the effect could be opposite.

It just doesn't have any impact at all. You can keep those links in dofollow but don't worry about that.

You may want to use no-follow if you sell a link (regarding google guidelines) otherwise it's not essential. It won't hurt your SEO if you're linking to high-autority websites. :)

Hello, if you make links to authority sites that will not confer trust to your site automatically, it would be much too easy otherwise...
